“…He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7b-8.

“The coming of the lawless one [Antichrist, man of sin] is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders…” 2 Thessalonians 2:9.

Antichrist who is called by many names in the Bible, man of sin, lawless one, beast, 666, the prince that shall come, little horn, son of perdition, to name a few, will be a brilliant politician, negotiator, and tactician.

Today the public and the media fawn over incompetent politicians whose only real talents are in making promises, malfeasance and lying. You can imagine how Antichrist will be like a starburst flare going off in a darkened Carlsbad Caverns.

Here is something worth thinking about. Adolph Hitler took Germany from a terminal depression and turned her into one of the most powerful nations in the world.

Granted, he then plunged Germany into nearly complete destruction but not before he was able to take over Poland, Austria, and other territories with little or no resistance. Had he not been a megalomaniac, he might have gotten away with much more before being embroiled in all out war.

When you consider this little bit of history it becomes easy to see how Antichrist could walk into a world in political and financial chaos and become the savior of mankind.

“Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard [swift to conquer], his feet were like the feet of a bear [ponderously powerful], and his mouth like the mouth of a lion [greedy]. And the dragon [Satan] gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed [he will rise from the dead]. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?’ And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months [3½ years].” Revelation 13:2-5.

History is about to repeat itself!

Because of man’s sin nature it would be easy for the beast to make or recommend changes to benefit those who are obscenely rich yet they are grossly unfair or immoral to the many victims of financial collapse who have no political connections.

We are given a little glimpse of the changes that will be made under the rule of Antichrist through the record of the future destruction of political Babylon and the things they traded in.

“…wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men.” Revelation 18:13b.

While the populace will be paying a day’s wages for a loaf of bread, the rich will live in air conditioned comfort, eating and drinking only the finest of food and wine while driving around in luxury cars.

“When He [Jesus the Lamb] opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, ‘Come and see.’ And I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a denarius [a day’s wages back then], and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.’” Revelation 6:5-6.

“…bodies and souls of men” while slavery is prevalent in the world today, it is illegal in most places; in this future world, it will be legalized and many may sell themselves into slavery just to have a roof over their head and to be fed. Others will simply be taken into slavery against their will.

Many sinful men are enticed by the idea of having slaves, but what they do not take into account is the fact that most of us are only one or two rent or house payments from being on the street.

When the financial market crashes and things are reorganized most of these people even millionaires will be unemployed and homeless.

Then, with the world unequally divided between the rich and the permanently poverty stricken, who do you suppose will be the slaves? To be done with as the owner sees fit.

There will be two good reasons to buy a slave in the Antichrist’s new world order. The first will be because they will be needed to perform a task of one sort or another. The other will be because the purchaser will need an organ donor.

If a rich person needs an organ today there are persons they can contact and for the right sum they will murder someone and send the needed part to the client.

Do not be shocked, we live in a world that does not blink at aborting babies and harvesting their organs, euthanasia, or the idea that we may soon be able to engage in killing unwanted children up to a certain age.

Most of this is legal in America today and with a government dominated by pedophiles it is legal in California and soon will be throughout the country if nothing is done about it.

No one speaks for the helpless, but they come out in force when a murderer is about to be executed.

The Antichrist will change, times and law; morality will no longer be a consideration, lying will be the truth of his reign and no one will care.

“But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; and they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries [drugs] or their sexual immorality or their thefts.” Revelation 9:20-21.

Six trumpets had sounded, releasing the most horrendous plagues earth has ever seen. The fifth and sixth trumpets release the most fearsome and deadly plagues imaginable. Read Revelation chapters 8 and 9 for this account.

Almost half way through the tribulation and the hearts of men are only hardened for, and ready to take the beast’s mark 666.

“You [Pharisees] are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” John 8:44.

“Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.” 1 John 2:22.

I seem to be apologizing continually for some of the shocking things that are written in these posts, but they are not put in lightly.

If a person is about to be hit by a truck, they are not going to be offended when someone shoves them out of the way. Anyway I apologize for some of the dreadful things I include herein.

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders.” 2 Thessalonians 2:9.

We are told above that Antichrist’s coming is by the working of Satan. And this is another reason for his success; he has Satan himself whispering in his ear.

The devil has a lot riding on this man so he throws in all of his power and his ability to create signs and lying wonders to prove that Antichrist is god. What an amazing sight this will be for those who dwell on the earth!

“…with all power, signs, and lying wonders”; Antichrist’s power is from Satan and is used to work miracles.

Signs are significant meaningful miracles. Wonders are something so strange as to be watched or observed, amazing their observers.

All of these are thoroughly contaminated with falsehood and have the sole intent of deceiving those who see them.

Is there any wonder that they are accepted by those who do “not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:2.

“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12.

“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11.
