Satan has managed to keep the world in constant turmoil since our parent’s first sin in the Garden of Eden. As you may have observed, he has managed to turn the world into a seething cauldron of division, anger, rebellion, murder, and greed.
In 2 Corinthians, the apostle Paul defends his authority against the claims of false apostles who had entered the Corinthian church, this incident is in chapters 10-11, here we will look at a small portion to illustrate our point.
“Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, ‘Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?’ So Jesus said to him, ‘Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.’” Mark 10:17-18.
The dictionary defines worship as: “reverent honor and homage paid to God or a sacred personage, or to any object regarded as sacred. Or it could mean an adoring reverence or regard; for example, an excessive worship of money.”
