The primary intent of this post is to show that all children go to heaven if they die.
“Then Nathan [the prophet] departed to his house. And the Lord struck the child that Uriah’s wife bore to David, and it became ill. David therefore pleaded with God for the child, and David fasted and went in and lay all night on the ground. So the elders of his house arose and went to him, to raise him up from the ground. But he would not, nor did he eat food with them. Then on the seventh day it came to pass that the child died. And the servants of David were afraid to tell him that the child was dead. For they said, ‘Indeed, while the child was alive, we spoke to him, and he would not heed our voice. How can we tell him that the child is dead? He may do some harm!’ When David saw that his servants were whispering, David perceived that the child was dead. Therefore David said to his servants, ‘Is the child dead?’ and they said, ‘He is dead.’ So David arose from the ground, washed and anointed himself, and changed his clothes; and he went into the house of the Lord and worshiped. Then he went to his own house; and when he requested, they set food before him, and he ate. Then his servants said to him, ‘What is this that you have done? You fasted and wept for the child while he was alive, but when the child died, you arose and ate food.’ And he said, ‘While the child was alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, “Who can tell whether the Lord will be gracious to me, that the child may live?” But now he is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.’” 2 Samuel 12:15-23.
The background to all of this is the story of David and Bathsheba, which you may be familiar with. If you wish a refresher, read chapters eleven and twelve of 2 Samuel partially quoted above.
Here is a quick outline of the story for those who may not have a Bible or the time.
One night while King David was walking out on his roof he noticed a woman bathing on the roof of one of the houses below. Entranced with her beauty, he sent for her and had sex with her, whereupon she became pregnant.
The woman Bathsheba however was married to a soldier named Uriah who was out to war at the time. David sent for Uriah and attempted to get him to go home to his wife. Uriah however was a good soldier and would not go to the comfort of his home while his comrades were fighting a war.
Frustrated, King David sent Uriah back to the battle and instructed his general to put him into the fiercest of battle zones so he would die. Once Uriah was dead, the king was free to marry Bathsheba and all was well. Or so he thought.
If some of this angers you, imagine how God felt. Nathan the prophet was sent to David to convict him of his sin, and to pronounce judgment upon the king.
The judgments were horrible lasting all of his life. One judgment involved the death of the child that came out of the adultery of the king and Bathsheba which was recorded in our opening passage.
Many things recorded in the Old Testament were written as examples of the sins which can ensnare us today. So we do well to view the story of David’s sin, not just as some interesting tale, but as a warning to us all.
God uses the children of Israel in the wilderness as examples for us in 1 Corinthians 10, how they sinned and He warns us of the consequences of such sin.
“But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness. Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, ‘The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.’ Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell; nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents; nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer. Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:5-13.
God called King David, a man after His own heart. This is a great compliment, and I wish it could be said of us all. Bear in mind though that when David sinned, God’s love for David did not keep Him from pronouncing terrible judgments upon him along with the death of his own son.
David fasted seven days and wept, writhing on the ground for his child. It is my opinion that David got everything that he deserved for the evil that he committed at that time.
Woe is me my friends, what if I get everything I deserve?
How terrible for the innocent child to take seven days to die. But God is not unrighteous, who is to say that the child was not in a coma all that time listening to the heavenly choir as he was about to be welcomed into Paradise.
That God loves little children and receives them into His presence is seen in Jesus.
“Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.’ And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.” Mark 10:13-16.
In the Old King James Bible Jesus’ invitation is, “Suffer the little children to come unto Me”, and in the New King James Version the words are, “Let the little children come to Me.”
Some folks have misunderstood the words “suffer the little children” as meaning children must suffer to come to Jesus. There is no truth to this thought, the word suffer is merely an archaic way of saying, allow (or let) the little children to come to me.
While many children do suffer, it is not to come to Jesus; it is caused by mankind, with the aid of the devil.
Children are the most abused group in the world; they are often traumatized in the home, or sold to someone by despotic parents, while worldwide millions are aborted yearly.
They are abused sexually or otherwise by either side during and after warfare, they are the first to be enslaved, or suffer, starve and die in war zones.
They are victimized in the sex trade, not just little girls, but boys are taken by vicious homosexual predators, abused until they are hopelessly effeminate and prostituted out to pedophiles.
Meanwhile folks think God is just standing around with His hands in His pockets. Bear this in mind though, we cannot see the end of these perverts; they slip into eternal hell hourly.
“Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction. Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors.” Psalm 73:18-19.
One moment they are fulfilling their evil desires, the next they are the victims writhing in hell with the misery they have caused gnawing away at them for eternity.
Trust me, the lusts men fulfill on earth will not comfort them in hell, rather it will be part of their punishment.
God deals with individuals, but we only see the enormous machinery of the abortion industry, the sex trade, drugs and perverts in schools teaching young children pornographic filth.
As a result it seems that punishment is long overdue, but the individuals who make up the machinery fall into the pit of hell daily and another fool takes their place.
But why does God not take out the whole machine at once? Why does He not do something?
God has done something; He put man in charge of caring for the helpless. Why does man not do something?
The men and women in high positions in government who have the power to rescue children are not concerned with children, the helpless, or the poor. They wish only for more power and the riches and prestige that goes with it, the nation be damned!
Henry Kissinger once said that, “power is the ultimate aphrodisiac.” It is actually the ultimate fulfillment of narcistic self-love. Power should be invested in those who desire to care for those whom they have power over.
Moses was a man who cared for the people under him, as was Joshua, Samuel the prophet, and King David. The founding fathers of the United States were also concerned with the welfare of the people over whom they had authority. It is not so today.
The people of the United States can make a difference by voting in every election, vote for conservative men and women who are intelligent and mature, even if they are not outspoken Christians.
The point is to make changes now, consistent, intelligent voting will, over time, weed out the socialists and the opportunists. Vote, and pray, if you do neither, do not expect change for the better. Evil has to be faced down, not ignored.
The reason men are forced to vote for the lesser of two evils today is that they did not vote when evil men ran for election the first time.
During the millennium Jesus Christ will be the embodiment of the perfect benevolent world ruler. This will be after repairing the damage inflicted by the embodiment of the most evil world ruler, the Antichrist.
Until then the principles that God has set up will continue to operate quietly.
“Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!” Matthew 18:5-7.
Jesus said, “…whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin”, all little children will believe in Jesus because they have a childlike faith. So this phrase does not just refer to Christian children.
“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3-4.
God has His eye on all little children, and He forgets nothing, all godless men and women will have the charges read before them on Judgment Day.
And all will pay for every sin, every one of them over and over throughout eternity.
“Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 18:10.
Children will not stand before the great white throne on Judgment Day because their names are written in the Book of Life.
“Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:14-15.
Everyone’s name is written in the Book of Life until they reach the age of accountability which is a point in their life when they say no to the gospel of Jesus Christ for the last time. Their name is then erased from the Book of Life.
Children are not old enough yet to reject Christ knowingly. If they die as children their name has not been erased. This is not rocket science, yet there are those who believe that children go to hell if they have not received Christ as their Savior.
This is the worst type of fecal matter, if anyone has lost a child; rest assured that they are in heaven with Jesus. Just make sure that you have accepted Christ as your Savior so you will join them someday.
“Add iniquity to their [evil men] iniquity, and let them not come into Your righteousness. Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.” Psalm 69:27-28.
“Then Moses returned to the Lord and said, ‘Oh, these people have committed a great sin, and have made for themselves a god of gold! Yet now, if You will forgive their sin – but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written.’ And the Lord said to Moses, ‘Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.’” Exodus 32:31-33.
There is the account of a family that had a son in his fifties who had the mind of a child, and one night they were all watching a Billy Graham Crusade on television.
At the end when the invitation to accept Christ was given by Mr. Graham and the music was playing, this fifty plus year old child stood up with tears in his eyes and said, “Yes Jesus, I come, I come!”
Do not ever assume anyone is in hell. It is not your business to second guess God. If your best friend, brother or sister, or parent is gone do not assume the worst.
They could have accepted Christ at some time in their life without your knowledge. It is your job to give Jesus a chance in your life, seek Him while you can and be sure of joining your loved one who may well be in heaven.
“And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:21.
And never ever listen to the malarkey these so-called theologians spew out of mouths which have no connection to an intelligent source. Children go straight to heaven, every time, no ghostly wanderings, no Limbo, no exceptions.
“Children’s children are the crown of old men, and the glory of children is their father.” Proverbs 17:6.
“And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4.
“Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.” Colossians 3:21.
“Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.” Mark 9:37.
Candace Owens has urged folks who know of teachers showing pornographic material to students to report it to the police, not to the school administration. It is illegal to show pornography to children.
