Love and Compassion, Part 1

“Then a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, ‘If You are willing, You can make me clean.’ Then Jesus, moved with compassion, put out His hand and touched him, and said to him, ‘I am willing; be cleansed.’ And as soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.” Mark 1:40-42.

Witches, Ghosts and Goblins…Oh, My!

The account of the Gadarene demoniac is a gripping show of the power of Christ over Satan’s demons, it is found in only three of the four Gospels, Matthew chapter 8, Mark chapter 5, and Luke 8. While Matthew indicates that there were two men, all of the accounts for some reason concern themselves with only one of them.
