“Then God said, ‘Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind’; and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:24-25.
While it is stated here that God brought forth the beasts of the earth out of the earth, and it is clarified again in Genesis 2:19 that God formed them out of the ground, it does not mean that God did not create them from nothing.
That these were also created out of nothing is implied in the phrase “So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves…” Genesis 1:21a.
It is true that the water creatures (souls) came from the waters and the land creatures (souls) came from the earth; even man is formed from the dust of the ground.
The main thing that was created out of nothing was life and the souls of animals, whether in water or on land, and the soul and spirit of man, these came out of nothing when God called them into being.
While men and animals have souls and are self-conscious, plants also have life but it is an unconscious-life, they do not have a soul.

There are three different kinds mentioned in this verse and they cover everything. Cattle would include the domestic animals such as cows, sheep, goats, pigs and horses.
The creeping things would include worms, insects, frogs, lizards, other reptiles, and possibly some creatures such as moles, voles, and mice.
The beast of the earth would certainly be what we would call wild animals, such as lions, bears, antelope, elephants, and the dinosaurs.
In spite of what the evolutionists say, dinosaurs were created along with all of these beasts of the earth. For some reason the evolutionists have decided that dinosaurs died out about 73 million years ago, presumably because that is what fits the evolutionary model.
And anything that does not fit the evolutionary model must be false.
This is why many conservative Christians reject the gap theory, because too many people have tried to make the gap in Genesis 1:2 fit the evolutionary model by saying that dinosaurs existed in the distant past before the earth was judged and became formless and void.
That is simply not true, period; there were no dinosaur fossils in the ground when God re-created the earth around six thousand years ago.
It is amazing how quick some Christians are to accept the word of godless pseudo-scientists and then to go about twisting God’s word to fit their fanciful imaginings.
Men accept the theory of evolution for two reasons. One because everyone says it is true and two because that is what they want to believe so they suppress the truth.
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress [hold down] the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse…” Romans 1:18-20.
“Evolution is unproved and unprovable. We believe it because the only alternative is special creation, and that is unthinkable.” Sir Arthur Keith, evolutionist.
“[Creation] will present a parallel to the theory of evolution itself, a theory universally accepted not because it can be proved by logically coherent evidence to be true, but because the only alternative, special creation, is clearly incredible.” Professor D.M.S. Watson.
“Darwin made it possible to be an intellectually fulfilled atheist.” Richard Dawkins.
For those who believe it because that is what everyone says is true the answer is simple, just read a book on Creationism written by a Christian who lays out the facts as they really are and compare them with what is known, anyone who is honest with themselves will toss evolution into the waste bin where it belongs.
This theory is so ingrained that many will not seek evidence against it even if it were to open up whole new vistas in science.
There are caves in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe Rhodesia) that have ancient drawings on the walls of creatures that look like dinosaurs; drawings done by a tribe that only drew the things that they had seen for themselves. In other words, they did not make things up.
These findings were brought to the attention of a paleontologist in the area, he did not even leave his office because these paintings could not be of dinosaurs, animals that had gone extinct 73 million years ago.
The Paluxy River Bed near Glen Rose, Texas has numerous fossilized dinosaur footprints imbedded in it. Among these footprints are those of men running across them, the paleontologists who examined them determined that they were probably carved in the rock by the natives in the area though he did admit to the dinosaur tracks in the same place as being genuine.
In another incident the scientist put his own foot into the footprint which fit nicely, and announced that it certainly was humanlike.
There are many human footprints in rock that has been categorized as 250,000,000 years old. According to the evolutionists man has only been here about a million years, yet they do not go out of their way to explain this anomaly.
Dragon legends are found in every culture from St. George and the dragon to Chinese dragons, some of which were used to pull the emperors coach.
A dragon, by the way, is a dinosaur; the new name was given to them when godless scientists started digging up their bones in the 1800’s.
Once the name was changed they were dated as living millions of years ago to fit them into the evolutionist’s timetable, the old dragon accounts had to be ignored rather than explored.
Because of this deceit evolutionists ignore good eye witness accounts like that of Alexander the Great and his army when they encountered a dragon in India so huge that when it stuck its head out of its cave and bellowed at them, it frightened these battle hardened men.
There is more about India, written by Flavius Philostratus (birth circa 170 A.D. death 245) a sophist, which is a specific kind of teacher in ancient Greece and Rome who taught royalty and the elite (best to look this definition up). This is what he said about India.
“The whole of India is girt with dragons of enormous size; for not only the marshes are full of them, but the mountains as well, and there is not a single ridge without one. Now the marsh kind are sluggish in their habits and are thirty cubits long [45 feet], and they have no crest standing up on their heads.”
Pliny the Elder also describes dragons in his “Natural History”.
There are numerous accounts given by American Indian groups throughout the Americas.
The Pawnee for instance describe a giant Raptor which they called Hu-huk and the Sioux describe what they call a thunderbird which description lies well beyond what they knew as a hawk or an eagle.
Evolutionists like to think of these people as being backward or stupid, but a lack of technology does not mean that they were not just as intelligent as modern man.

If you read the short article, “The Dinosaur next door” you will be able to look at some photos of ancient drawings of dinosaurs which should not exist if they had died out millions of years ago.
In particular there is a temple called Ta Prohm Monastery in Cambodia, built in 1200 A.D. A wall there has a carving in stone, of what is unquestionably a Stegosaurus.
The poem Beowulf is actually about a real man named Beowulf born the son of Ecgtheow in 495 A.D. who at the age of 20 years, slew with his bare hands, the monster Grendel a dragon like creature which had terrorized the Danes for twelve years.
The name Grendel is not a name that they gave this creature but rather the name of the species which was also known of in England and Switzerland where there are bodies of water named after it, because that was its habitat.
The description seems to be of a two legged reptile which had two small arms and an enormous mouth with which it could devour a man in just a few bites.
Beowulf of whom it is said, had very strong hands, actually killed this creature by getting in close to it so it could not bite him and then he tore off one of the Grendel’s small arms, after which the creature returned to its nest and bled to death.
The Bible has a couple of descriptions of dragons which are quite explicit in the book of Job which is within a timeframe of perhaps three hundred years after the flood of Noah’s day.
“Look now at behemoth, which I [God] made along with you; he eats grass like an ox. See now, his strength is in his hips, and his power is in his stomach muscles. He moves his tail like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are tightly knit. His bones are like beams of bronze, his ribs like bars of iron.” Job 40:15-18.
Christians who are eager to satisfy the demands of evolution and believing that dinosaurs died out millions of years ago say that the creature described above, with a tail like a cedar, is a hippopotamus!
Leviathan described in Job chapter 41 is an incredible fire breathing dragon with scales that spears cannot penetrate and whose fierce countenance makes brave men soil themselves when they see him lift himself up and thrash about.
If you have seen the movie “The Hobbit: The desolation of Smaug” or its previews it might give you a good idea of what Leviathan looks like, except that Smaug has wings and Leviathan a water dweller does not. Christians who say that behemoth is a hippopotamus say that Leviathan is a crocodile, but crocodiles do not breathe fire.
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
