A few years back there was a report of a man who happened to be in a High-rise building several floors up when he came upon a young man who was perched in an open window preparing to jump.
Wanting to help, but not knowing what to do, he called out “Jesus loves you”. He said the young man gave him a look of sheer horror, turned and jumped.
“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled…” Hebrews 12:14-15.
