Semper Fidelis or Semper Fi in its common usage is the motto of the United States Marine Corp. It was adopted as the USMC motto in 1875, or 1883. The motto’s origin is unknown though it was common in Western Europe for hundreds of years before.
“Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. “In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.
