A Psalm of David: “Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.” Psalm 37:1-3.
“But you have a custom that I should release someone to you at the Passover. Do you therefore want me to release to you the King of the Jews? Then they all cried again, saying, ‘Not this Man but Barabbas!’ Now Barabbas was a robber.” John 18:39-40.
These verses have been added for context. Barabbas, by the way, was not just a robber but an insurrectionist and a murderer.
“So then Pilate took Jesus and scourged Him. And the soldiers twisted a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and they put on Him a purple robe. Then they said, ‘Hail, King of the Jews!’ and they struck Him with their hands. Pilate then went out again, and said to them, ‘Behold, I am bringing Him out to you, that you may know that I find no fault in Him.’” John 19:1-4.
“Jesus said to her, ‘Your brother will rise again.’ Martha said to Him, ‘I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day!’ Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?’ She said to Him, ‘Yes Lord, I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.’” John 11:23-27.
”And [John the Baptist] looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, ‘Behold the Lamb of God!’” John 1:36.
“The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, ‘What do you seek?’ They said to Him, ‘Rabbi’ (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), ‘where are You staying?’ He said to them, ‘Come and see.’ They came and saw where He was staying, and remained with Him that day (now it was about the tenth hour). John 1:37-39.
