Psalm 94:20

“Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, have fellowship with You?” Psalm 94:20.

According to the lexicon, iniquity in this sense of the word means the destruction which someone (in this case government) brings upon another. Other words which may clarify this are injury, mischief, or wickedness.

The nations of the world are making laws which discriminate against Christians in particular and morality in general by using socialist politically correct teachings as guidelines.

These teachings are anti-scriptural, anti-bible, and anti-established morality, and whenever there is conflict in law, politically correct takes precedence, even in the minds of some Christians at times.

There is absolutely no comparison between the two doctrines. The Bible was given to us by the God who created everything, including the laws that govern everything; whether mathematics, physics, chemistry, or morality.

God is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent, there is nothing that He does not know, and believe it or not, He is on our side. The creators of politically correct are godless men who make up things in their own heart and pass it off as wisdom, this is arrogance.

These godless socialist/communistic, atheistic, evolutionist, men who live in a dream world, have, whether accidentally, or on purpose, created an all consuming monster which takes away all open discussion and hinders free speech, whether Christian or secular.

It embraces an egalitarian spirit which accepts all men equally even the most sick or perverse which will eventually drag all of its adherents down into the muck of filth and ruin.

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!” Isaiah 5:20-21.

In their arrogance these men have not even taken from some of the wisdom of the ancient Greeks like Socrates, Plato, or Aristotle, but have abandoned all cohesive thought for something even the ancients would consider foolishness.

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: ‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.’ Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” 1 Corinthians 1:18-25.

“However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.” 1 Corinthians 2:6.

“Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, ‘He catches the wise in their own craftiness’; and again, ‘The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.’” 1 Corinthians 3:18-20.

“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.” James 3:13-17.

The question is what do present evil governments and the future all encompassing worldwide government of the Antichrist have to do with the living God?

“Shall the throne of iniquity [the destroying pestilence], which devises evil by law, have fellowship with You?” Psalm 94:20.

The answer is; absolutely nothing, men are being allowed to run things their way to show that man cannot survive without God. But God’s silence does not mean that there will be no judgment.

“But to the wicked God says: ‘What right have you to declare My statutes, or take My covenant in your mouth, seeing you hate instruction and cast My words behind you? When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have been a partaker with adulterers. You give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit. You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother’s son. These things you have done, and I kept silent; you thought that I was altogether like you; but I will rebuke you, and set them in order before your eyes. Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver…’” Psalm 50:16-22.

God allows man to sin in this life, but:

“…it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment…” Hebrews 9:27.

Unfortunately men forget this because they take God’s silence for approval of the things they do, “…and I kept silent; you thought that I was altogether like you; but I will rebuke you, and set them in order before your eyes.” There is a cruel day coming for these men.

Many Christians make the same error as the ungodly; they think that because God does nothing, He approves of their action or actions. This is a grave mistake, and it has caused much unnecessary grief for Christians throughout time.

There is one hard and fast principle that Christians should never forget, that is if Scripture, God’s word, says that something is wrong, it is wrong.

If Scripture says that something is wrong, it is wrong, it is sin!

A person cannot justify themselves by saying that their circumstances are unique and therefore not governed by the word of God.

However, if someone finds themselves painted into a corner; in a marriage or a job for instance, the old adage, look before you leap is good advice.

Some things should be looked at carefully before making a change; especially where other lives will be impacted. Intense prayer, even fasting, and Bible study on the subject which is causing trouble is a step in the right direction.

Sometimes it will help to consult a godly pastor, elder, or trusted mature Christian (who knows how to keep a confidence). The best advice that can be given is, always, always, always know your Scriptures, it is our handbook for life.

“How can a young man [woman] cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. With my whole heart I have sought You; oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.” Psalm 119:9-11.

“Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.” This is especially important for the Christian.

They are also something that moral people who believe in God need to consider, not that good works will get you to heaven, only faith in Jesus Christ will do that.

But by living the godly principles given in Proverbs, the Psalms, and all of the New Testament will improve your life, and maybe extend it.

Any nation that forsakes God’s principles will find itself going into a freefall from which there is only one escape, return to God in Christ.

“Those who will not be governed by God will be ruled by tyrants.” William Penn

“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perversity. No one calls for justice, nor does any plead for truth. They trust in empty words and speak lies; they conceive evil and bring forth iniquity. They hatch vipers’ eggs and weave the spider’s web; he who eats of their eggs dies, and from that which is crushed a viper breaks out.” Isaiah 59:1-5.

When the offense became overwhelming, God gave the nation of Israel over to her enemies.

“They served their idols, which became a snare to them. They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons, and shed innocent blood [by abortion today], even the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood [abortion 50 + million babies]. Thus they were defiled by their own works, and played the harlot by their own deeds. Therefore the wrath of the Lord was kindled against His people, so that He abhorred His own inheritance. And He gave them into the hand of the Gentiles, and those who hated them ruled over them. Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.” Psalm 106:36-42.

This is what happened to Israel, God’s own people. I have added words in brackets to show how close the actions of America as well as many other countries mimic those of ancient Israel. We can expect no less punishment than they suffered.

The government and media of this country are already under the thumb of greedy socialist/communist plutocrats who are turning America into a third world country so they can gain unlimited control over our freedoms.

These also influence education the media and congress to allow perverts to destroy our children by teaching them to obey government only and by confusing them about their sexuality and mutilating them.

“…and those who hated them ruled over them”; America is already ruled by fear of terrorists, fear of illegal aliens, and fear of the loss of our freedoms.

This country is already at a tipping point, and unless Christians awaken to the facts and turn to God unreservedly, we and our children will pay dearly.

Yet very soon, the whole world will pay dearly for abandoning God, and serve the Antichrist, a person who will seem to have all the answers to all the world’s problems, but in the end, it will be all about him, and the world at his feet worshipping him, or else.

Christians too often follow the gospel of; God wants to make me rich. Or a gospel of social justice, and helping our fellow man, or a gospel of feeling guilty because of God’s many blessings to us.

Or a gospel of no gospel wherein Jesus or hell are not to be mentioned because it may offend someone, so take down the cross from the steeple and preach love for all mankind. But that is not what Jesus told us to do is it? Just whom are we following?

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18b-20.

Why do men have so much difficulty understanding these simple words given to us by the head of the church the Lord Jesus Christ?

Too many millions of Christians throughout the last two thousand years have given their lives, sometimes under great pain, for this current generation to just dismiss their blood bought works.
